We are looking for someone who wants to help shape the education and teaching for our students together with colleagues in both the Student Health Team, Safety Team, and staff group. We offer a newly renovated school environment and an engaged colleague group where we together focus on how we can best work proactively and preventively to ensure our students complete their education.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Together with our teams, you have a leading role in creating conditions for an accessible and flexible learning environment and teaching adapted to our students' needs. We start from the premise that the student is not, but becomes in a context. You have a collaborative approach and enjoy driving school development forward, seeing the benefits of learning from each other so that all students can achieve the best possible academic results. The role includes working preventively to remove barriers in various learning environments and being a support for teaching teachers in matters related to leadership and stimulation, extra adaptations, and special support. You collaborate with the school's working team and provide special educational support focused on success factors in teaching.

Your responsibilities include:

• having a pedagogical drive and a desire to further develop the operations together with others, viewing development and new ideas as positive challenges
• supporting working teams and participating in the proactive and preventive work to remove barriers and difficulties in various learning environments within the operations
• noticing and analyzing difficulties at the organizational, group, and individual levels and together with staff making observations of students in need of special support and then discussing measures
• assisting in the establishment of pedagogical mappings, tests, and investigations during supplementary student investigations, work that is carried out in collaboration with our special teachers
• being responsible for and leading the establishment of action programs in collaboration with relevant parties
• being responsible for the work concerning students in need of special support via delegation from the principal, with the assistant principal as the responsible manager
• ensuring that the overall special educational competence within the operations is good
• being a qualified conversation partner and advisor in pedagogical matters, including providing guidance to staff individually and in groups
• having a good ability to create professional relationships and include staff, students, guardians, and external partners in the work and efforts being made.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who is a trained special educator and has good pedagogical and didactic skills, as well as the ability to organize and lead work at the group and individual levels successfully. You are interested in working on school development with improvement issues related to student health and have a holistic approach in your solution-focused attitude. You have the ability to create good and sustainable relationships with students, colleagues, and guardians to contribute to an inclusive school environment for our students. It is advantageous if you have several years of experience in a similar role.
